Apply to clean skin. Using a tanning mitt or bare hand, apply a small amount of self-tan mousse to the skin and spread the tanning mousse evenly over the entire body. Since the tanning mousse is brown-tinted, you will see perfectly where you have applied the tan and where it may still be lacking, so you can cover the tan easily and evenly. It is recommended to apply more carefully to areas such as the legs, elbows, palms, and soles, as these areas are often drier. It is also recommended to additionally moisturize these areas if they are dry. To achieve a sun-kissed glow, leave on for an hour and a half; for the skin to get a rich bronze tan, looking as if you have just returned from the Maldives, leave on for five hours or overnight; for a medium-intensity tan, it is enough to leave on for 2–3 hours. After washing off, the intense initial brown tint will wash off (it is designed to make applying the tan particularly easy, so that it can be seen where areas are already covered and which ones still need to be covered, so that the tan is applied very evenly) and a beautiful, sun-kissed-looking tan effect of the desired intensity will remain, so there is absolutely no need to fear the initial very dark shade. The tan lasts a long time, has no orange tints, and fades evenly.
